I hope someone does one of these for us someday. In case you’re interested, we’re at a service station hotel in Somerset on our way to Cornwall to play at Beach Break Live alongside chart-toppers like The Enemy and The Wombats (no comment). The weather on the way down yesterday was glorious - unfortunately it also meant that our hotel rooms were volcanic. Hotter than hell.
Mido, our soundman, and I tried finishing a bottle of wine each to send us off to sleep. This worked for me until about 6am when the sun came up. I ended up having a shower about 7 and have since been killing time in every possible manner. I have now sampled Cafe Ritazza, WHSmith, the BP garage over the road, the bench, the picnic table - I may even end up on Time Crisis. I am on cigarette number 4 and coffee number 2. I am not looking forward to the sugar crash.
Will try and find some photos of us from today later on - Owen has a pornographically sweet new guitar.

That Radiohead thing is fucking golden. I’ve seen another one similar but they’re taking it more seriously. Will see if I can find it.
