The eagle has landedPosted on Monday June 2, 2008 at 6:57pm

We arrived in Bridlington on the glorious East coast of Yorkshire today to start recording our debut album. During my long spells of inactivity (i.e. when Owen is recording 12 different guitar parts) I’ll try and keep the website up to date with
how we’re getting on, insider gossip, crazy golf tournament scores, what we’re eating and photos of our adventure.

Stay tuned

“…to start recording our debut album”

This has put a massive smile on my face - thank you! I was gonna ask one of you guys after the Star of Bethnal Green gig if there was going to be an album anytime soon actually but for some reason I got the impression you were unhappy with the performance or something so I thought I’d best not hound you. Also I was shy…

But yeah, great news! And recorded in the place of my birth too - the beautiful East Riding of Yorkshire.

Coupla questions (please dismiss if they’re too nosey, I’m just interested):

    1) Where abouts is the recording taking place?
    2) Is this going to be a mix of familiar material and new stuff?
    3) If so, will said ‘familiar’ tracks be re-recorded?
    4) Lastly, do you envisage Broken Wing making the cut? I’ve missed it being in the set the last few shows…

Take care - all the best.
