Ho ho hoPosted on Sunday December 27, 2009 at 4:56am

I am at my Dad’s house and he has reprimanded me for not updating our website enough. Frankly my only excuse is that Twitter is a lot less time consuming. So here’s a slightly more verbose message.

We have now rounded off Grammatics 2009 and moved into a strikingly new phase of our existence. We are half a new band in personnel terms and an altogether different band as a result. We would like to thank everyone who’s been to see us, bought our record, expressed enthusiasm and even just paid attention when we were supporting one of the numerous bands we have played with throughout the year (thanks also to them - Red Light Company, Rolo Tomassi, Maximo Park, Radiohead (come on - technically) and Bloc Party). We toured with Pulled Apart By Horses but no fuckin way in hell were we supporting those degenerates.

As has been said, our priority now is to write and record our second album. Those of you who came out to see us in December may have seen us playing an as-yet-untitled new song. This is the first fruit of the writing we have done since playing with James and Lins and we’re excited to settle down and carry on without the distraction of going on a month long tour with caterers and a ping pong table or driving an 18 hour round trip to Amsterdam to play for half an hour and spend the majority of the rest of the time filming nonsense for an inane video diary chronicling our expriences window shopping for condoms and chatting a lot of jazz fag bullshit.

We hope you had a bearable Christmas and awake to find yourself suitably clothed, if not at least vaguely aware of where you are on New Year’s Day.

Festive greets
Roron / Grammadicks

Rory you are a ballbag. but A TRULY LOVEABLE ONE. as a spokesperson of PABH - i can confirm that grammatics definitely did not support us but they did write better pop songs than us, however we outdo them in cliche rock and roll shenanigans any day. We love you dickbags, have a sweeeeet 2010 xxxx
